The campaign comes as the US government increases pressure on Nicolás Maduro, whom it accuses of leading a drug trafficking network in the Caribbean, a situation that raises the possibility of attacks on Venezuelan territory. This Thursday, American planes flew off the coast of Venezuela, a new episode in the tense war of nerves between Trump and Chavismo.
