
The revocation of the Magnitsky law against Alexandre de Moraes, made official by the United States this Friday (12/12), weakens an agenda that Flávio Bolsonaro intends to evoke during the elections for the presidency of the Republic next year.
Indeed, Flávio’s campaign will have as its pillar the fight against what the senator describes as “arbitrary” and “abuse” allegedly committed by the Supreme Federal Court (STF).

In this context, the sanction from the White House supported the speech to be delivered by the parliamentarian. Flávio Bolsonaro will still criticize the Supreme Court during the elections, but now without the approval of the US government.
The repeal of Magnitsky also benefits President Lula electorally, who did not give in to American pressure and won a diplomatic victory in negotiations with Washington.
