THE Young Symphony Orchestra of Valladolid (JOSVa) presented this Sunday at the Miguel Delibes Cultural Center in Valladolid the best scores of Johann Strauss to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Viennese composer on the occasion of the 18th edition of the Family Christmas Concert … of the Schola Foundation of Valladolidwhich celebrated its 25th anniversary in style.
On stage, alongside members of the group directed by Ernesto Monsalve, the Bailarte Ballet participated, together with the Madrid choirs of the Orfeón de Moratalaz, the Orfeón de Hortaleza “Maestra Dolores Marco” and the Choir of the Hortaleza School, in a total reconstruction of the Vienna New Year’s Concert.
The nomination had the collaboration of the Eme Foundation in its artistic and musical aspect, and the profits from the event will be allocated in solidarity to the projects promoted by the ONGD Harambee in Africa, which promotes maternal and child health initiatives, promotion of women and education in Africa and on Africa, through development projects in the sub-Saharan zone, reports Ical.
