Official data suggests that the reserve of this water resource has increased compared to last week.

Regardless of the situation in the reservoirs in Spain, you must always approach their use responsibly. For this reason, Miteco has published a series of recommendations for saving water in homes, especially in the kitchen.
When washing dishes, you can use a small basin of water for soaping the dishes and another for rinsing, which significantly reduces water consumption.
On the other hand, if you want to buy a dishwasher, it is recommended that it is low-consumption. Currently, models with a capacity for 12-13 rinses have a water consumption of 6.5 to 18 liters per wash cycle, ideally their consumption per wash cycle is less than 10 liters.
Additionally, some dishwashers have economy programs that use barely half as much water as others. Consult the user manual and look at the water and energy consumption of each program.
In dishwashers, the so-called “quick” program usually saves considerable water because some pre-rinse and rinsing phases are eliminated.
Detergent can also make a difference when it comes to saving water. There are several whose phosphates contribute to the proliferation of algae in rivers and reservoirs and deprive the aquatic fauna of oxygen. There are phosphate-free laundry detergents and dishwashing liquids on the market. Select them.
Don’t throw used oil down the sink, keep it in a small container. When it is full, you can use it to make soap or take it to the cleaning site.
If you like cold water, don’t leave the faucet running: put a bottle of water in the fridge.
