Knowing what demands to prioritize at work is one of the ways to achieve professional happiness
Different factors can bring happiness into our lives, including work. After all, we spend a lot of our time on work tasks, and being satisfied with your work is essential to balancing your personal and professional life. But how can you be happy in a field full of responsibilities, demands and pressure?
According to Laurie Santos, happiness scientist and professor at Yale University, happiness at work can be achieved through “job creation”, or “job crafting,” described in a Harvard Business Review article as a process that “reenergizes work life” through an employee’s passions and goals.
“Research shows that there are strategies we can use to feel happier at work. One of the most important paths to happiness at work is through social connections,” the scientist said in an interview with Exame.
