
The Biennale for contemporary sacred artwhich celebrates four decades in 2026, announced who they are selected artists of the 14th edition. The 79 works will be on display from March 19th to May 3rd National Museum of Decorative Arts.
The selection jury – consisting of Xil Buffone, Ernesto Ballestros and Santiago Villanueva – evaluated more than 1250 suggestions sent by artists from Argentina and abroadwith the participation of countries such as Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Spain, the United States, Italy, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico and South Korea.
Among the chosen ones are those of Diana Aisenberg; Andrew Aizicovich; Xavier Barilaro; Leonard Cavalcante; Marcolina Dipierro; Veronica Di Toro; Nicholas Dominguez Nacif; Teresa Giarcovich; Itamar Hartavi; lux Lindner; Rudolf marquis; Sasha Minovich; Benicio Mom Spinetta; Julia Padilla; Alexander Ros; Hernan Except; Mariana SissyLorraine Ventimiglia and Paul Ziccarello.

Since the call has an ecumenical character and is open to artists of different denominations, it is supported and supported by the patronage of the City of Buenos Aires.
The first Biennale of Sacred Art in Argentina was opened in 1986 at the initiative of Monsignor Vicente VetranoVicar for Culture of the Diocese of Morón to promote a space Encounter between art and religion.
