
The Santander Local Police initiated legal proceedings, as non-custodial investigators, against a 21-year-old young man for driving without a license and in a “reckless” manner and also for refusing to submit to alcohol and drug tests.
The events occurred this Monday morning in the parking lot of Camello beach, in the Cantabrian capital. The police went there after another young man alerted the police by telephone that there was a driver there who tried to crush him and that he was driving “aggressively”.
The young man who called also told officers he knew this person because he a debt for the purchase and sale of a vehicleand I knew I didn’t have a valid license.
Once there, the driver was identified and the officers verified that in reality he did not have a license since a court had been temporarily deleted and had not recovered it. During the intervention, he was asked to take alcohol and drug tests, but he refused.
For all this, the obligatory legal procedure was carried out, as a non-detained investigator, to several alleged crimes against road safety: one for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, another for refusing to take the breathalyzer test, another for driving without a valid license, and finally another for alleged reckless driving, local police reported. Furthermore, to the person concerned, A self-defense spray was seized from him. The vehicle was transported by a city crane to the Ojaiz municipal depot.

On the other hand, during the weekend, the Local Police of Santander denounced six people for drinking alcohol in the street and another for changing the coexistence of citizens by shouting, shouting and clapping in public. Officers also reported the managers of four homes for disturbing neighbors with parties and another for doing so with the constant barking of four dogs he had in his home.
Additionally, they have been reported three hotel businesses and a games room for violating the regulations. Among the hotel companies, one was reported for obstructing the entry of officers as they were preparing to carry out an inspection and control. Another case involves loud music and open doors, disturbing the neighborhood and failing to comply with license conditions, and the rest for not providing a complaint form. The games room was reported for causing disruption to the neighborhood and breaching license conditions by playing music and selling alcohol without permission.
