
A search operation was deployed at the mouth of the Miño, in Portuguese territory, to search for three crew members of the a Portuguese fishing boat that sank and of which two Portuguese sailors have already been saved.
In collaboration with the MRCC center in Lisbon which coordinates the operation, Maritime Rescue is participating in the search for three missing crew members of Indonesian origin from the Portuguese fishing boat Caminha Villageshipwrecked in the Portuguese zone, at the mouth of the river which marks the border with Portugal.
As Salvamento Marítimo reports, Portuguese media managed to rescue two crew members of the same nationality, but three others remain missing.
On the Spanish side, the plane was deployed Sasemar 101the Salvamar Mirach boat and the Pesca 1 helicopter, from the Gardacostas service of Galicia.
The emergency service 112 Galicia was informed after 1:30 p.m., through the Miño Naval Command, of the location of an overturned boat at the mouth of the Miño River, near Illa da Ínsua.
Besides Maritime Rescue and Gardacostas, information was also transferred to Civil Guardthe firefighters of O Morrazo and Vigo and the GES of A Guarda
