The Gamondi family in full length on the rented farm in Santiago
The Gamondi family follows Estudiantes everywhere. There is no game they miss, either in Argentina or abroad. In fact, one of them, Guillermo, is the grandfather who went viral in Asunción, Paraguay by waving his stick while cheering on the team for the Copa Libertadores.
Then this media found him at the airport and in the note he said that he had suffered a stroke and that this was his first trip to encourage Estudiantes after a long recovery.
Of course he and the rest of the family didn’t want to miss the final against Racing at the Madre de Ciudades in Santiago del Estero. There was no way to stay outside. But there was a problem to solve: Since there were no accessible plane tickets (four family members were traveling), my only option was to travel by car.
But there was another problem here, because in Santiago del Estero there was neither a hotel with free capacity nor apartments with rooms where you could stay overnight before returning to La Plata. Until an opportunity arose that was crazy at first, but was the only chance. On a farm on the outskirts of town, with sheep, llamas, chickens, pigs, goats and other animals, the Gamondi family found the only place available to sleep. Everything is for the love of Estudiantes and the fulfillment of the desire to participate in all the games.
