In their complaint, the leaders of the Citizens’ Coalition targeted Pantano and Conte for the purchase of a plot of land of more than 105,000 square meters in Villa Rosa, in the Pilar district. According to the submission, the defendants could not justify the purchase of a property that, according to the descriptions, would function as a large country house with collector cars, a stud farm for Arabian horses, a horse training track, sports facilities and even a helipad.
The complainants emphasized that the partners’ income was incompatible with such assets: Conte was a social monotributist and retired; Pantano, Category G monotributist, with a maximum annual turnover of $40 million.
A property with luxurious infrastructure

The financial profile of the partners also fuels the hypothesis. Ana Lucia Conteone of the owners was a monotributist until 2012, she received the IFE in 2020 and retired in 2021. The other member of the company, Luciano Pantanoappears in Category G of the monotributewith a turnover cap of 40 million pesos per year, and registered Bank debts of more than $2 million in September.
The complaint also points to a direct connection to the world of football. According to the letter, Pantano has a business connection with the former general manager of Boca Juniors, Lucas Labbadwith whom he shares the company Mendoza Wines SA from January 2023. Labbad is described as the piece that would allow Pantano to connect with Tapia’s immediate surroundings.
To confirm the suspicion, a Carlos Tevez tweets dated March 5, 2024 addressed to the Treasurer of the AFA, Pablo Tovigginoin which he referred to the collection of “old and imported cars you accumulated in Pilar” and the “bags you brought from Qatar”. Also incorporated a Helicopter video in the property in question as an indication that it is used by third parties with greater purchasing power than the formal owners.
