This Sunday, the Civil Guard located a corpse on a beach in Melilla dragged by the strong east storm which hits the autonomous city. According to police sources, this is a man whose age could not be determined due to the poor state in which the body was found after have been at sea for a long time.
The strong surf dragged the corpse at San Lorenzo beachin Melilla, very close to the marina of the autonomous city, where the Civil Guard located him early this Sunday.
The Government Delegation in Melilla informed that the Complex Operational Center (COC) of the Melilla Civil Guard Command was aware of the incident. discovery of the body has 8:24 a.m. and, once the personnel of the Organic Judicial Police Unit of the Command were activated, its members communicated the fact to the service judge and the forensic doctor.

The Civil Guard orders the police procedure for the clarification of facts and full identification of the corpse, who will undergo an autopsy to determine the reason for death and take steps to fully identify the body.
Melilla is one of the regions affected by the storm Emilia, which forced the activation of yellow vigilance this Saturday due to winds coming from the east of up to 60 km/h and waves of three meters until the early hours of this Sunday.
