According to information provided by the Metropolitan Command of the Public Security Police (PSP), the man entered the jewelry store with his face covered and He used a goat’s paw to break the windows. In just a few minutes, he managed to get his hands on several gold coins, valued at around twenty thousand euros.
The moment of the attack was recorded by several visitors present at the scene. In the images, broadcast by Portuguese television, we see the individual violently breaking the windows and putting the jewelry in a plastic bag. After taking several coins, the attacker ran towards one of the main doors of the center, but was intercepted by security agents, who managed to prevent their escape and detain him until the police arrive.
