The advice comes from nutritionist Juliana Andrade, of Metropolises. A graduate of the University of Brasilia (UnB), she shares step by step the sweet with natural ingredients and source of proteins. The recipe replaces the traditional milkshake, and helps with satiety and muscle recovery.
The preparation base is simple: vegetable or skimmed milk, frozen banana (this detail is important because it guarantees the natural creaminess) and a source of protein, such as whey proteinGreek yogurt or vegetable protein. “The result is a full-bodied, flavorful milkshake that nourishes the body for longer,” he says.
According to the expert, combining proteins with fruits and good fats helps control glucose levels, improves lean mass gain and reduces the desire for ultra-processed sweets.
