The Minister of Health, Presidency and Emergencies, Antonio Sanz, confirmed this in statements to the media during an event held at the Valme Hospital of Seville. Sanz drew attention to the fact that with this EPO of 2025 and those of 2022, 2023 and 2024 resolved in recent months, the SAS It will arrive at the end of 2026, reaching 96% of the stabilized workforce compared to 40% at the start of the PP government seven years ago.
The 2025 offer includes 3,735 newly created positions, already announced in the Government Council, as well as the forecast of 2,167 positions corresponding to future retirements, as part of the multi-year planning that the SAS. Of the total approved places, 10% will be reserved for people with disabilities: 7% for disabilities equal to or greater than 33%, 2% for intellectual disabilities and 1% for people with mental illness.
The Andalusian Health Service, since 2019, has resolved the access processes for 58,701 permanent places, to which are added the 21,953 currently being resolved and now these 10,289 of the new offer. In terms of employment, the Junta de Andalucía and five unions – Satse, Andalusian Medical Union (SMA), CSIF, CCOO and UGT – signed a “historic agreement” for Andalusian public health. Concretely, the Administration and the unions signed a new stock market pact for the hiring of health personnel in a “more agile, transparent and equitable” way.
