The Ministry of Security of the Province of Buenos Aires, through the Agency for the Prevention of Violence in Sports – APreViDe – announced that the security operation arranged for the match between Gimnasia and Estudiantes on Monday at 5pm at the Juan Carmelo Xerillo Stadium, will involve approximately 650 members of the Buenos Aires Provincial Police.
In addition, there will be 65 private security agents, there will be the participation of about 135 Utedyc agents, medical coordination with four very complex ambulances, and individual firefighters.
As for opening the stadium doors, it will be at one o’clock in the afternoon.
It was also noted that there will be no general ticket sales for this match. It was noted that “the match will be held at full capacity. Once the maximum capacity in the stands is reached, spectators will be prevented from entering so that they do not exceed the permitted spaces.”
Income to Classico Platense

Public entry will be through doors 5, 14, 21, 22 and 23. The press will be approved from Section 23 bis. In emergency situations, gates 38 and 39 of the stadium will also be used.
APreViDe recommends that fans get to the stadium early, and there will be ticket and membership card controls and identification at entrances. The right of admission will be implemented using smartphones.
There will be support from the stadium’s security cameras, with continuous monitoring of the stadium’s internal and external entrances. The visiting delegation will be escorted by police officers equipped with video cameras.
Police reductions will be carried out from the early hours, in cooperation with urban surveillance agents, the municipal security secretary and the COM monitoring centre. Protecting the Juan Carmelo Zerillo Theater from the night before the event for preventive purposes.
The police operation will be intensified at access points to the city, main gathering areas for groups and schools, popular sectors of the city, downtown La Plata, Avenue. Nos. 7 and 50, company headquarters, near the forest.
