Madrid, December 12 (EFECOM). – Animal health authorities have discovered three new positive cases of wild boars with African swine fever in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona), bringing the total to 16, all located in this municipality, according to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Veterinary Health Alert Network (Rasve) increases the number of reported outbreaks to seven since the first outbreak was discovered on November 27.
Meanwhile, since the first case, troops stationed at Ground Zero have fenced the area within six kilometers to intensify wild boar trapping, and investigations to determine the origin of the virus continue. EFECOM
