The TikTok Awards 2025 brought together, on Wednesday evening (11), in São Paulo, the main creators, artists and personalities who marked the year on the platform. The award highlights TikTok’s role as a showcase for cultural, musical and behavioral trends, with the presentation of Lázaro Ramos, Thalita Meneghim and Gabb.
Among the winners, Brino was elected Creator of the Year, a recognition which crowns a year marked by strong commitment. In an interview with #Hashtag, the creator talks about the importance of interacting with audiences for one’s mental health and dedicated the award to his fans. “These comments help me every day, it helps my head and it helps my soul,” Brino says.
Lucas Rangel won in the Video of the Year category, with content that stands out for its storytelling and impact among the platform’s different audiences. According to the creator, the prize is all the more important as it is his first victory in his 12-year career on the Internet: “I can’t believe it. I just became a father, I left my daughter with my husband to come here and come back with this (the prize), it’s logical, and it shows that everything went well.”
The Star of the Year award went to Paolla Oliveira, who consolidated her presence on TikTok by exploring more spontaneous formats, approaching a young audience in addition to promoting her work on television, notably the soap opera “Vale Tudo”.
The event included a performance by Pabllo Vittar, who performed his version of “Sinais de Fogo”, in tribute to Preta Gil, who died in July this year.
The vote, open to the public, took place directly on the official page of the prize application. Categories allowed users to choose their favorites by clicking on this page.
Voting remained open until December 9, with the exception of the “Creator of the Year” and “Video of the Year” categories, which remained open for voting until the evening of the ceremony itself. The #TikTok for a Better World category was the only one not open to the public, honoring creators who inspire awareness and transformation of the environment and society.
