Minister Dias Toffoli, of the STF, rejected a request made by the defense of former banker Daniel Vorcaro, of Banco Master, to suspend the violation of his confidentiality by the INSS-CPMI. However, Toffoli also decided that the information already sent to the CPMI be kept at the Senate Presidency.
As a result, information on Vorcaro’s WhatsApp account, already available in the CPMI system, was no longer accessible to deputies and senators of the collegiate this Friday afternoon (12/12).
The material viewed by the Chronicle does not include copies of Vorcaro’s WhatsApp conversations. The information provided by Meta, the app’s owner, included a list of groups, a series of login details, and a list of contacts he had saved on his device.
Among these contacts are Alexandre de Moraes and his wife, lawyer Viviane Barci de Moraes, as shown in Tácio Lorran’s chronicle.
In addition to WhatsApp messages, the CPMI also approved last week the Summons of Vorcaro and transfer of his banking and tax secrets. The tax information requested related to the period from January 2016 to November 2025.
The Chronicle reached out to Vorcaro for comment, but there has been no response yet. The space remains open.
