“We already had a reinforcement with last year’s class that graduated in May: 1,231 military policemen. We also held a competition for doctors, dentists and veterinarians. The request to the governor (Ibaneis Rocha) was exactly the regularity of our competitions. So, this year we now benefit from 1,239 additional combat policemen authorized to start the course on December 29,” the commander said.
In addition to the 1,200 new PMs, Governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) will appoint 680 officers of the Federal District Civil Police (PCDF) and 89 firefighters.
