
A large tree collapsed, toppling electrical wires and blocking Rua Bernardino Fanganiello, this Wednesday (10/12), in the Casa Verde neighborhood, north of São Paulo. In the midst of an extratropical cyclone, the capital of São Paulo recorded winds of 96.3 km/h this morning.
Images obtained by Metropolises point to the tree across the street. In the video, it is possible to see people following the situation on the sidewalk, unable to continue on the path.
The collapse left several residents without power and Enel was called. However, according to witnesses, the company promised to resolve the incident by 1 p.m., which has not yet been resolved.

Contacted for the report, the company had not commented on the matter until the publication of this article. São Paulo City Hall was also questioned and did not respond.
Firefighters were called to 514 calls for falling trees, from 00:00 to 12:00 this Wednesday (10/12). Strong winds are expected to contribute to even more incidents.
