A 40-year-old man was injured after being hit by a falling tree in São Paulo this Saturday (12/27). According to information from firefighters, the tree fell on a vehicle at the corner of Avenida Raimundo Pereira de Magalhães and Rua Gago Coutinho, to the west of the city.

The victim was trapped in the wreck and suffered a leg injury. He had massive blood loss, but was saved conscious and taken to Hospital das Clínicas.

- The city of São Paulo was on alert for heavy rain this Saturday (12/27).
- The alert from Civil Defense and the Climate Emergency Management Center (CGE) reported a risk of flooding, gusts of wind, electrical discharges and hail in all regions of the municipality.
- According to firefighters, there were at least 111 calls for falling trees, two collapses and seven flooding points.
- There is no information on deaths.
