New blow for the criminal organization of the Trinitarios. National Police and Mossos d’Esquadraas part of a joint operation, arrested 19 people in Catalonia and managed to dismantle a faction of the group linked to … at least five violent attacks which they committed on demand and with firearms. They are also linked to drug trafficking and at least two attempted murders.
The police investigation, which has been interested in this gang for months, made it possible to determine that one of the detainees was one of the leaders of the gang in Catalonia and that among them was also one of its leaders at European level. Seven of those arrested were imprisoned for their criminal acts, including their ordered attackswhich they did knowing that their victims were carrying jewelry, watches and cash.
Police work began in February, after an attempted homicide in L’Hospitalet. , and from there they were able to connect them to other cases. Searches in cells and prisons
