Detect, identify and report in seconds
One of the most striking aspects of this radar is its ability to send the infringement directlyIn real timeat the fine processing center of the corresponding municipality. This accelerates the sanction procedure and minimizes the possibility of escape.
Additionally, TruCam II identifies the license plate of the vehicle in question and is considered one of the more sophisticated systems worldwide, commonly used by police forces in the United States and various European countries.

An investment that pays off
With a cost between 70,000 and 80,000 eurosthese teams represent a considerable investment for the municipalities. However, its ability to detect violations remotely and its effectiveness in handling sanctions allows pay them off in a short timethanks to the high volume of fines they can handle per hour of use.
The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) announced a few months ago the acquisition of 15 units of this type, although at present there is no evidence that they are operational at the state level. It was therefore the municipal police which took the first step in their implementation.
Compact, lightweight and versatile
Thanks to its design and the variety of supports available, the TruCam II can be used in different situations: fixed orders even mobile operations. Its small size makes it easy to transport and quick installationwhich makes it an ideal tool for monitoring urban or interurban sections with high accident rates.
The use of long range portable radars marks a new stage in speed control in Spain. It is no longer enough to brake just in front of a visible radar: from now on, the violations are detected well before the driver notices the device.
