Twenty complaints in Ávila in two days for illegal racing and reckless driving

The Local Police of Ávila has expressed about youaround twenty complaints in two days for reckless driving and possible illegal racing, municipal sources told Europa Press.

During a first intervention which took place on the night of December 7, … at 11:00 p.m., we learned of a possible “KDD express” from tuned vehicles in the surroundings of the bullring of the capital of Ávila. There, officers observed two vehicles at the roundabout at the confluence of the N-403 with Nuestra Señora de Sonsoles Street that were “carrying out operations reckless driving, in addition to recording a concentration of cars on the arena esplanade.”

In total, they were fifteen sanctions which were made, to which was added another complaint and the immobilization of a car participating in the concentration due to lack of compulsory civil liability insurance.

The next day, Monday December 8, at 11:05 p.m., as part of a device activated by the traffic unit of the local police of Ávila to respond to the possible carrying out of illegal races. in the southern part of the city, It was observed that two vehicles became a couple at the roundabout where the Burgohondo highway meets Juan Pablo II Avenue (Donantes roundabout) and accelerated when taking the straight line towards the San Mateo hill, ending when they reached another roundabout, where it meets the N-110 highway.

Local police officers followed these vehicles to the esplanade of the Los Cuatro Postes monument, where the two drivers were reported with sanctions of 500 euros in each case, in addition to proposing the removal of six points from the driving license of each of them.
