Two minors, aged 15 and 16, died in the fire that broke out this Thursday in a two-story house in the town of Alhaurín el Grande, in Malaga, as reported by the 112 emergency service and the sources of the operation deployed on site.
The victims are a teenage couple who were on the upper floor of the house, where they got stuck and were unable to get out, according to operation sources.
Several witnesses alerted telephone 112 at 8:00 a.m. of a fire in a house on San Rafael Street in which several people were trapped. The coordination room activated the Civil Guard, the Health Emergency Center 061, the local police and the firefighters of the Provincial Consortium, who moved personnel from the Coín and Alhaurín de la Torre parks.
The fire affected both floors of the house, with a large load of flammable materials, and two deceased minors were found inside, according to the Fire Consortium, which continues to intervene at the scene this afternoon. Following the fire, the causes of which were not specified, the house was seriously damaged and the roof collapsed, according to 112.
