Berlin, December 6th (EFE). – Ukrainian authorities reported on Saturday a massive Russian attack on various regions using 653 drones and 51 missiles of different types, striking 29 points in the country, causing damage to energy and transport infrastructure and injuring at least six civilians.
According to the Air Force’s morning report, 653 drones were counted, including more than 300 of the Shahed type, of which 585 were neutralized.
According to this source, the Russians also launched three Kinzhal Kh-47M2 aeroballistic missiles, 34 Kh-101, Iskander-K and Kalibr cruise missiles – 29 of which were intercepted – and 14 Iskander-M and KN-23 ballistic missiles, one of which was intercepted.
According to the air force, missile or drone impacts were recorded in a total of 29 different locations, while fragments of fired projectiles fell in three parts of the country.
“The attack continues, there are several enemy drones in the airspace. Observe the security rules,” warned the Air Force.
According to Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksy Kuleba, targeted attacks on the electricity and heating network infrastructure occurred in the regions of Kiev, Chernihiv (north), Zaporizhzhia (south), Lviv (west) and Dnipropetrovsk (centre).
As he wrote on Telegram, some consumers in Odessa (south) also remained without water and the port infrastructure was damaged.
“Russia continues to systematically attack cities, energy facilities and logistics routes,” he denounced, assuring that repair work was underway.
Three people were injured in the capital region of Kiev, the state rescue service reported on Facebook. A train station in Fastiv was also damaged, affecting commuter traffic, according to state railway company Ukrzaliznytsia, and a warehouse and three trucks burned in the town of Novi Petrivtski.
In Dnipropetrovsk, three civilians were injured in a rocket attack, two men aged 37 and 65 and a woman aged 75, according to the regional administration.
In Chernihiv, in the north of the country, Russian drones hit private homes and important infrastructure, where fires broke out, according to the state emergency service.
In the city of Lutsk, near the Polish border, a drone attack caused a fire in a food warehouse, mayor Ihor Polishchuk said on Telegram. EFE
