In recent years, a change has been observed in female emotional behavior: women in their 30s seem to evaluate more carefully where to invest time, energy and affection. Unlike young people, when intense emotions and promises of change are enough, many seek relationships that provide true partnership, open communication, and emotional responsibility.

This shift reflects broader social trends, such as hypergamy, as some women seek partners who are mature, stable, and compatible with their life goals, prioritizing compatibility and shared growth. Choices based on immediate needs or expectations of change tend to lose their force.
Emotional behavioral specialists point out that this generation also places greater importance on mental health and emotional well-being in relationships.
“This generation is more aware and concerned about mental health and emotional responsibility as well, and is choosing a more practical and uncomplicated relationship model,” says Caio Pietrincourt, a specialist in emotional behavior and relationships. “Hypergamy is a relationship model with more mature men, who do not play boring games and lies.”
Today, factors such as lack of commitment, transparency or dedication tend to be viewed more critically, as personal time is seen as a valuable resource. Tolerance for games and nonsense is becoming increasingly less.
