The year 2022 was a landmark year for the Universidade Paulista (UNIP): in the midst of offering 90 traditional and technological undergraduate courses, face-to-face and distance learning, the Medicine course was implemented.
Reference in higher education and even highlighted by the population and human resources specialists in research by renowned vehicles and institutions, UNIP, in the implementation of the medical course, pays homage to the founder and doctor by training, Professor Dr. João Carlos Di Genio (in memoriam), who, with the creation of a pre-university course of medicine, in 1965, sowed the seeds of hundreds and hundreds of graduates and postgraduates at UNIP.
Today, by training doctors, UNIP honors this heritage, preparing professionals to transform lives and contribute to the healthcare system.
And it is on this mission that the Medicine course is based, following a guide whose educational proposal – dynamic and innovative – aligns with the requirements of modern health care.
Indeed, the quality of highly qualified teaching staff, the use of cutting-edge technology and a complete infrastructure essential for learning, mean that UNIP Medicine training trains qualified doctors for the challenges of the profession, combining technical excellence, humanist vision and social commitment.
