A culinary epicenter in the heart of downtown
This weekendhe Puerta Cinegia market in Zaragoza turns into a meeting point for lovers of gastronomy, black truffles and culinary experiences. The city welcomes the V Sample of Black Truffle from the Province of Zaragozawhich will bring together producers, chefs and specialists around one of the most popular products in the Aragonese territory.
Organized by the Association of Truffle Producers of the Regions of Zaragoza (Truzarfa)in collaboration with the Aragon Agro-Food Research and Technology Center (CITA) and the Zaragoza Provincial Councilthis initiative seeks to show the cultural and economic wealth of the black truffle, as well as promoting public knowledge and interaction with the local production.
Featured programming from the gastronomic market
Saturday December 20
- 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. – Market for fresh truffles and truffle products.
- 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – Family workshop “Discover all the secrets of the truffle under the microscope”, designed to introduce the science of the mushroom to the little ones.
- 12:00 p.m. – Showcooking and cooking workshop with La Zarola, where participants will be able to learn techniques and recipes using black truffles from professionals.
- 6:00 p.m. – Free tasting of truffle tapas and craft beers, in collaboration with Cerveceros Caseros de Zaragoza.
Sunday December 21
- 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Continuation of the market for truffle products.
- 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – Second session of the family workshop with a microscope.
- 12:00 p.m. – Paired tasting of wines and truffle tapas with the participation of Bodega Enate.
All activities are from free access but they need pre-registrationa measure that makes it possible to organize capacities and ensure an optimal experience for the participants.
