In the comments following Albeiro Rafael Fontalvo’s latest publication, dozens of users expressed their horror at the outcome. The crime was discovered by Manuel Fontalvo, father of the attacker and grandfather of the girl, who reported that around 5 a.m. he heard his son calling from the room.

When he entered, he found Albeiro covered in blood and his granddaughter lifeless, with multiple wounds caused by a blade. Neighbors cooperated in the transfer to Camino Simón Bolívar, where the death of the minor was confirmed. The seriously injured attacker was taken to Adelita Hospital in Char, where he died hours later.
Inside the room, authorities found messages written on the walls by Albeiro Rafael Fontalvo that were addressed to his ex-partner, Lisney Paola Rosado. In it he warned that he would “not hand over” the minor and blamed the woman for what happened.
He also left words for his nine-year-old stepson, whom he asked to “take care of his mother.” These writings and the videos bear witness to an emotional escalation that culminated in an extreme act of vicarious violence.
The last four videos published by Fontalvo on his social networks show a remarkable change in his tone. In the first, he recorded his daughter and dedicated the song to her If my heart doesn’t let me downby Los Diablitos, accompanied by the message: “Just you and me until the end of time, my beautiful baby.”
In the second it appears in mode Selfie with the girl holding a teddy bear and thanking God for having her by her side. The third clip reveals a darker emotional twist: They both sit on the bed while an audio recording can be heard saying, “The problem wasn’t that he cheated on me, it was that he drove me crazy because I was suspicious.” Fontalvo added: “Often we think we are guilty, but you think and see that you were not the one who made the mistake.”

The fourth video is considered the most disturbing. Fontalvo appears serious and visibly upset and writes: “I love you so much, daughter, that I give my life for you,” while in the background a ranchera plays with the phrase: “I’ll hit you where it hurts the most.” This was his last publication before the crime.
The case sparked a nationwide call to strengthen protections for victims of vicarious violence, a form of aggression in which minors are used to cause emotional harm to the mother.
Ombudsman Iris Marín Ortiz warned that this crime, which occurred on December 6, 2025, shows the urgency of strengthening preventive and protective measures against this type of violence, which can and should be recognized and avoided by state institutions.

According to the Ombudsman’s Office, the attacker Albeiro Fontalvo used psychological and coercive violence against his ex-partner and even isolated the girl from her mother by imprisoning her. The company emphasized that the minor had expressed her wish not to stay with her father, a wish that the relevant authorities did not comply with.
Marín Ortiz spoke out in. It is called vicarious violence and it is sexist violence. Wordless.”
