An influencer sparked controversy on social media after purchasing a bag of bread intended for the Eucharistic sacrifice, which is of great value to the Catholic Church, just to try the holy offering.
It all started when influencer Kayo Schiffer posted on his former Twitter account: “I never learned catechism, so I bought a bag of chips to satisfy my curiosity about what they taste like.”

Kayo even posted a video “reacting” to the taste of the chip. During the Mass, the host is consecrated by the priest and becomes the body of Jesus Christ, according to Catholic belief.
He was criticized across the networks and accused of manipulating the beliefs of the Catholic Church. “Religion is sacred,” one netizen said. Another said: “It is a sin to eat the sacrament without chrismation and the Eucharist.”
The video posted by Kayo interacting with the host’s taste has already received more than 218 thousand views.
