The debate over the disappearance of the Institute for Transparency, Access to Public Information, Protection of Personal Data and Accountability of Mexico City, an organization known as InfoCDMX, caused a riot in the Mexico City Congress. Legislators from the National Action Party (PAN) took to the platform of the parliamentary precinct to prevent the extinction of the institute, promoted by the large majority that Morena has in the local Congress.
The seizure of the platform caused the annoyance of the pro-government bloc, which left the site and decided to continue the session in another location and thus be able to move towards the extinction of InfoCDMX and the approval of the city budget.
