After Estudiantes’ win against Gimnasia, Santiago Núñez spoke about it, albeit to the television press.

For his part, he added: “It’s special for them to be champions. We came to do our job and we did it well.”

In recent years, Estudiantes’ central defender duo has strengthened, giving the team more security.
