The traffic accident involving three buses transporting Estudiantes fans to Santiago del Estero, which occurred this morning on the National Road 8, near the town of Solís, caused great concern in the municipality of Pincharrata. However, the club issued a short statement with detailed information, providing relief to fans and their loved ones.
While the echoes continue about the events that took place in the early hours of this Saturday, amid the red-haired exodus to the Madre de Ciudades stadium, the president of “Pincha”, Juan Sebastián Verón, expressed his point of view on the events this afternoon and did not hide his indignation.
Through its social networks, “la Brujita” shared the official statement of the club and also referred to the lack of empathy given the extensive mobilization of hundreds of kilometers that the fan and the member have to travel to watch the game.
It should be noted that a large proportion of the fans traveled at night, both by bus and by car, to get to Santiago without pressure. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries in the clash between the units.
“The lack of empathy towards the fan and the partner is total,” Verón said in his post on Instagram.
And he added: “You are exposing people to mobilization without anyone caring about the consequences.”
“Then they sell you that the club belongs to the members,” launched “la Brujita” amid the excitement surrounding the accident that occurred this morning.
Meanwhile, fans continued to travel by land to Santiago del Estero this afternoon via a single-lane access road, which caused traffic jams and delays in sections.
