The President and CEO of YPF, Horacio Marinannounced that there will be a drop-in this week 2% in fuel prices in the country. “A little bit every day, not the same everywhere“, he explained in dialogue with Luis Majul on the screen of LN+.
Marín explained that since he started his management of the energy company at the end of 2023, he suggested making one “Honesty agreement with consumers”meaning the price rises or falls in relation to the “supply and demand” of fuels.

In this sense, he pointed out that the company carries out detailed monitoring of the various variables that make up the final price and that it can therefore confirm this “This week there will be a 2% drop in gasoline at the Argentine level.”.
He also clarified that the reduction “It won’t be the same everywhere.” but on average that will be the percentage stated. As for them Dieselsaid that “You have to go up and you have to go down”.
On the other hand, the CEO of YPF referred to the Labor reform what the government has promoted. He stressed that the possibility of advancing these changes has been a debate that has been ongoing for many years “The world has changed so much that it needs modernization”.
He also pointed out the impact that this change in labor legislation would have on the sector in which YPF operates. “We need to modernize in the energy sector because to achieve the numbers we achieve, YPF and all companies must be competitive because our oil and gas compete with North American dead cows. So geology helps us, but We have to be as efficient as they are in order to export for 20 years. That’s why it is like this Our sector is very importantbecause productivity has to be defined by companies,” he said.
