Why is faith so important? Because it is an emotion that allows us to see a better tomorrow “through the eyes of our mind”. Faith moves us from the urgency of our daily activities to the possibility of creating a reality that goes beyond the here and now.. And while most of us associate faith with a particular religion, there are certain characteristics that every believing person, religious or not, has in common. I invite you to consider some of them:
Faith is neither a simple theory nor a mystical experience reserved for only a few. It is above all a personal decision. We are all born with the ability to believe, and at some point along our journey we can emotionally choose to believe that something better is coming, even when everything around us seems to suggest otherwise.
When someone says to themselves, “I think I’m going to be okay,” they open the door to a new reality full of hope. Although the present is not what we dream of, this attitude allows us to go through the day with more ease and serenity, no matter what difficulties we face.
After a traumatic event, many people let go of the very things that could support them: Faith, that force that nourishes us from within and encourages us to maintain thoughts of peace and well-being. Therefore, in this special time of reunion and affection, I would like to encourage you to reconnect with your faith. Activate it with positive words and why not? Share it with those around you. Focus on improvements, changes and opportunities. Dear reader, I assure you Faith will help you look forward with hope, something we should never lose..
Merry Christmas!
