Study shows when the smartest people are born; see if you agree with the list
Are you curious if the month of your birth suggests that your intelligence is superior to that of other inhabitants of Earth?
Well, a study carried out by a team of researchers from National Bureau of Economic Research, Massachusetts (United States), analyzed the academic results and socio-economic conditions of students and obtained an impressive result.
THE the conclusion is that children born in Septemberespecially the 16th, are more intelligent than the other children.
Well, this study didn’t take into account children from various parts of the world, okay? The experts collected data on births from the Florida Department of Health between 1994 and 2000, as well as on the educational achievements of children aged six to 15.
Why are people born in September smarter?
The results show that those born in September scored on average 0.2 points higher than other students.
Not only age, but also socio-economic factors were also relevant. Research has shown that children from less privileged families have greater learning difficulties.
Because the study does not represent the general population, many experts have questioned the results. Additionally, the education systems in the United States and Spain are different.
In the United States, the oldest students are those who celebrate their birthdays in September, while in Spain, where, although classes begin in September, the oldest students in each class celebrate their birthdays in January.
