Mayor Juan Mari Aburto pressed the button and simultaneously they illuminated the most emblematic areas of Bilbao such as the great Moyúa tree, the trees of the Plaza de Arriaga, Indauxtu and Basurto, the enchanted forest of Arenal, the town hall, Olentzero and Mari Domingi or the lighting of the old town, among others.
