What is the story of Landman?
Adapted from the podcast Booming city, Landman accompanied Tommy Norrisplayed by Billy Bob Thornton (Fargo), a “Landman” responsible for keeping the peace and solving problems in the world of Texas oil wells. The series echoes the success of Yellow stone but this time, by trading cattle fields for oil rigs.
In the second season, after the death of her husband, Camille Miller (Demi Moore, The bottom) becomes the sole owner of M-Tex, while facing industry challenges and dealing with powerful oil billionaires. New episodes explore the impact of the economic boom on climate, economics and geopolitics, showing both farm workers and oil tycoons their ambitions and conflicts.
