When Matías Becher was 18 years old and leading a team of 25 employees in one of the family businesses, he discovered something that would be repeated in almost every company. local shops: Administration used to be the weakest point. There was a lack of training, but there was also a certain laziness in uploading invoices and checking inventory. Today, at the age of 29, this diagnosis has been transformed into Adminiad, a startup born in Villa Mercedes, San Luis, capable of reading an invoice from a photo and automatically uploading the inventory, costs and sales prices into a management system.
The solution seems simple, but it highlights one of the biggest problems retail: the time wasted loading purchases manually, the lack of inventory control and the errors that can be crucial in a country with inflation. Becher saw this problem almost by accident in 2023, when he watched a team at the family gas station counting goods and loading them one by one into the computer. “Then I thought: How good it would be if An AI automatically digitizes a purchase invoice” he recalls. That moment coincided with a course on artificial intelligence that introduced him to the possibilities of technology. The mix of observation of the real world and curiosity about learning led him to… Tool designed for the concrete life of small businesses.
Since then, Adminiad has grown steadily. The company began its development in early 2025 with an initial investment of $35,000 has its own resources and today works with a team of 4 programmers and 2 administrators. Although it operates out of San Luis, it is already present in more than 700 companies in Córdoba, Rosario, Mendoza, Tucumán and Buenos Aires. “Our goal is that every retailer, even without technological knowledge, can use advanced tools. AI makes sense when it solves an everyday problem and not when it becomes an inaccessible luxury,” says Becher.
The technology behind the product unites Google Cloud Vision with models of OpenAI. The system identifies products, quantities, codes and prices; automatically uploads this data to the inventory; Reset values of the sale corresponding to the last purchase and Update inventory without manual intervention. Also Send relevant administrative notices and maintains proper records of purchases. The star function, the Automatic invoice uploadis solved with a simple photo taken by a mobile phone or a PC.
The effect is measured in hours. “A small kiosk saves an average of 2 hours per day, a supermarket saves half of the administrative salary in purchasing processing.” Mug insured. For the owners, this freed up time becomes a scope to think about strategies, order prices, sell more or simply be clear about the numbers. “Retailers can focus on a different sector, increase sales and know that the numbers are good,” he concludes.
Over time, the team discovered another common behavior: companies ordering indoors but not communicating outside. “We saw beautiful dashboards, but the customer’s Instagram was dead. Bottom line: Coping without communication is like having a gym and not going,” he explains. For this reason Added social media content generation features with the help of AI, something unusual in a management system, but relevant to real business life: communication is also part of the survival of a company.
The business model is based on a Monthly pass its highest planned costs $50,000. The free version – with full sales and inventory control capabilities – was key to the initial launch. With this plan, Adminiad plans to end 2025 with sales of almost $15,000 and in 2026 that number will triple to $45,000 per year.
Venture as a springboard and challenge for growth in Latin America
Until mid-2025 Adminiad was selected by Endeavor Cuyo to participate in the HIT program, one of the most prestigious acceleration areas in the country. The path was atypical: a chance conversation at an event at the Ronald McDonald House. “I tell the president about my startup, who is also part of it Endeavor, whose. He introduces me to the president of the organization. “After three interviews and several forms, I was selected,” he remembers. And he adds a piece of information that shaped him: “Since this ecosystem has existed, no one has ever left San Luis.”
Joining HIT confirmed its intention to make Adminiad a bridge for other local entrepreneurs. Until 2026 plans to organize events that connect the founders of San Luis with other ecosystems in the country. “I made new friends, met a lot of people from all over the country and know that it will pay off in the long run, such as mentorship or investments,” he says.
The next step is Latin America. According to Becher, these are the markets with the greatest potential Mexico, Colombia and Peru, Countries where very high consumption was found in small businesses, but administrative management was still in its infancy. “Our goal is to provide Administrative training throughout the region,” he emphasizes. This vision leads to one of his most ambitious projects: an AI avatar trained by Adminiad that explains concepts, suggests best practices and guides each entrepreneur according to their area of expertise. “We will rely heavily on administrative training. Let them understand the importance of each point and how to run a business,” he explains.
Thanks to automatic charging, a kiosk can save up to two hours per day
He also changed his personal life. Cup that ran in national motorsport categoriesToday the activity is paused. “I had to decide which side I wanted to focus on, and the decision to work at Adminiad and pursue my dream makes me happier,” he says. Although he misses the adrenaline of the racetrack, he realizes that what he learned from racing stays with him every day. “Motorsport gives you a lot of sadness, anger and frustration, but if it gives you joy, it’s worth ten times as much.” In entrepreneurship, victories are less pompous but more lasting“, he reflects. And in the face of failure, he applies the same logic as in the pits: “I ask myself why and what I could have done to change this reality.” What would I do from now on to shape my next career?
“My goal is for Adminiad to be a before and after to reduce the failure rate of ventures“, he summarizes. This idea sustains him even when, as he admits, he works more hours than ever before.
With it Startup born in Villa MercedesA simple photo of an invoice can be turned into an automatic inventory upload. In this daily gesture that for many local shops means buying time to persist, the bigger bet of Managed: Show that technology, when it understands reality, can level the playing field for the little ones.
