Who is Flávio Nogueira
At 71 years old, Flávio Nogueira is a doctor, teacher and has a long political history in Piauí. He served as a state lawmaker for three terms and held positions in the state executive, such as secretary of Civil Defense, Cities and Tourism. He also led organizations such as the State Assistance and Pension Institute and the Teresina Municipal Health Foundation.
In Congress, he served his third consecutive term as federal deputy for Piauí. Throughout his career, he alternated affiliations between PT and PDT and served on the strategic committees of the Chamber.
Who is Marx Beltrão?
A 45-year-old lawyer, Marx Beltrão is part of a family with an electoral tradition in Alagoas. He began his public life in Coruripe, where he served as municipal secretary and then mayor for two consecutive terms (2005-2012). Local projection brought him to the Chamber in 2014, then through the PMDB. He was re-elected in 2018, by the PSD, and again in 2022, now by the PP.
Beltrão has taken leave from his mandate several times to take over the leadership of the Ministry of Tourism within the government Michel Temer (2016-2018), which expanded his political transit to Brasilia. Since then, he has worked regularly on committees related to tourism, health and consumer protection.
