Trained behind the scenes of television, Daniela has always worked directly in the areas of content and management. For many years, she served as Artistic Director of SBT, a role in which she was responsible for some of the channel’s most notable drama projects. Among them, the soap opera “Chiquititas”, one of the channel’s biggest successes.
Over time, Daniela expanded her activities beyond the artistic sector and began to participate in the company’s strategic decisions. In April 2023, she was announced as vice-president of SBT, taking on a more central role in the group’s leadership. With the death of Silvio Santos, in 2024, she became president of the channel, thus becoming the main person responsible for managing the channel.
Discreet and averse to frequent public appearances, Daniela rarely gives interviews or takes a stand on political issues. This is why his decision to sign and publish the response to the criticisms made by Zezé Di Camargo attracted attention.
In the text, she defended the presence of the authorities of the three powers at the event and reaffirmed the channel’s commitment to journalism that she described as “reliable, without parties and without sides”.
