Son of journalist Cid Moreira, Rodrigo Radenzév Simões Moreira was arrested in the act on a farm located in São Pedro, in the interior of São Paulo, after his ex-wife filed a complaint against him to the police. The complaint says the woman was assaulted with a gun, leading to a request for protective action.
But who is Rodrigo Radenzév Simões Moreira? Rodrigo is the result of Cid Moreira’s relationship with Olga Verônica Radenzev, with whom the journalist married between 1970 and 1972. The relationship between father and son has always been marked by distance. In 2006, Rodrigo even sued Cid Moreira for emotional abandonment, but the suit ended up being thrown out by the courts.

Besides Rodrigo, Cid Moreira is also the father of Roger Moreira, who was the nephew of his ex-wife Maria Ulhiana Naumtchyk and was adopted by the journalist as an adult. The communicator also had Jaciara Moreira, his eldest daughter, who died in 2020.
Currently, Rodrigo and Roger are engaged in litigation regarding Cid Moreira’s inheritance. The two men are taking legal action against journalist Fátima Moreira, with whom the presenter was married for more than 20 years and who is at the center of controversies concerning the property left by the communicator.
