Romagaga Guidini Chagas de Lima, influencer arrested this Saturday (12/27) for the crimes of disobedience, contempt, obscene act, threat, drunkenness and invasion after unrest on Rua Augusta, central region of São Paulo, is 30 years old and became known nationally in 2010 when she made viral videos in honor of the singers Lady Gaga and Preta Gil.
She became one of the first trans women to find her place in Brazilian digital humor.
The influencer’s defense confirmed that she will spend the night in detention until the custody hearing, scheduled for this Sunday morning (12/28).
What happened
- According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the Prime Minister was called around 10 a.m. to investigate a complaint from the influencer.
- Romagaga said she was robbed by a hotel manager.
- The manager, in turn, claimed to have been threatened by Romagaga.
- According to him, the influencer had invaded the premises and attempted to damage a door and a computer.
The recorded police report states that Romagaga opened a live broadcast and got naked during the confusion, in protest.

The document also points out that the content creator accused the hotel manager of stealing her iPhone, but the device was found with her and was used to broadcast the incident.
The police authority opted for the act due to the plurality of offenses (threat, obscene act, home invasion, disobedience and contempt). For the moment, his cell phone remains seized for forensic examination.
According to the SSP, Romagaga was taken to the 78th DP (Gardens), where she remained detained at the disposal of the court. She was charged with the crimes of disobedience, contempt, lewd act, menacing, drunkenness and invasion.
In a statement, the influencer’s lawyer, Mateus Navarro Barbosa, said he intended to demonstrate that there is no legal basis to maintain the prison. “On this occasion, the defense will clarify the factual reality to the judge and demonstrate that maintaining prison is absolutely useless, given the absence of the requirements set out in the Code of Criminal Procedure, including the risk to public order,” the text specifies.
He indicated that parallel measures will be adopted against possible abuses occurring during the action. “At the same time, the defense will seek the civil, criminal and administrative liability of all those, public officials or not, who have committed crimes of abuse of authority and homophobia,” he adds. According to the lawyer, the latter is assimilated to the offense of racism, within the meaning of the Federal Court, which is imprescriptible and non-releaseable.
