Guanahani It is the mansion in Punta del Este where Marcelo Tinelli spent the summers with family and friends that officially began with the welcoming of each New Year. Last November, the businessman and driver handed over the keys to this “place in the world,” as one of his three daughters defined it, to its new owner, Tyler Lawton.

An American financier took over Guanahani – a property that had been for sale for several years – for around eleven million dollars, in an operation that – according to Argentine and Uruguayan media –Tyler Lawton closed in July 2025.
What does the inside of the mansion that Tinelli sold for $11 million look like?

Silvia Venturini Fendi is one of the heirs of the famous Italian brand, which in 2001 became part of the luxury brand portfolio of Bernard Arnault, the richest man in France and CEO of the LVMH holding company (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy). She is the one who showed in a video on social networks the first tour she took as a family through the garden and beach of Guanahani, in Punta del Este.

Before the sale to LVMH five sisters Fendi was looked after by: Paola, Franca, Carla, Alda and Anna. Silvia Venturini Fendi is the latter’s daughter and is credited with creating an iconic Fendi accessory: the Baguette purse. Additionally, LVMH announced last September that she would be leaving her position as Creative Director from Fendi because she was named honorary president of the brand. Since last October, her place has been taken by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the former creative director of Dior, who thus returned to Fendi, where she began her career.
