James Ransone, an actor known to audiences for his roles in blockbusters such as It: Chapter 2, The Black Phone 2 and the early 2000s series The Wire, died at the age of 46 this Friday (12/19). The information was confirmed this Sunday (12/21) to the international press.
The artist, with more than 20 years of career in television and cinema, gained great notoriety playing the adult version of Eddie in the sequel to the horror genre phenomenon It: The Thing.
Years earlier, the actor had already won over viewers with the role of Ziggy in The Wire, a hit from the early 2000s on HBO. He joined the second season of the series in 2003.
Ransone also appeared in Generation Kill, The Entity, and the Black Phone franchise.
According to the expert report published by the Los Angeles Legal Medical Institute, there was no evidence of outside action in the actor’s death.
