Last Tuesday (12/2), Fernanda Esteves, the widow of Erasmo Carlos, revealed that she received mental health alerts from netizens, after she made a post about how much she missed her husband. After the repercussions of the case, the educational teacher returned, on Friday (5/12), to social networking sites to vent about the case and speak publicly.
“Are we going to talk about mental health? No, since I don’t have any competence to deal with this topic. They’re not worried about me, they’re worried about speaking up or saying anything, as long as it’s quick and first. You can talk to me, you don’t need to talk about me. I’m here,” he began.

He continued: “I have a great psychiatrist, and I underwent years of treatment, before Erasmus was admitted to the hospital, during and after his death, and whenever something happens, I am honored to be able to turn to these specialists, in addition to a personal support network full of parents, family and many friends, who I am lucky to be able to rely on.”

Also in the post, the singer’s widow spoke about the reactions on the Internet: “I ignore the dozens of diagnoses I receive every week, from psychologists who do not treat me, and from people who watched a quick, not even basic, video on how to recognize mental illness,” before continuing:

He said, “In times of anxiety about performance, the normal thing is to repress feelings. Repressed people get sick. Talking about longing does not mean talking about pain. On the contrary, I laugh a lot here. Those who cause me pain are alive and I have never mentioned them in this space of love.”
Talk about your loss
Afterwards, Fernanda Esteves explained her posts about Erasmo: “My profile on this network became an album of my longings and new beginnings, here I was able to give a voice and also listen to many people, the vast majority of whom were women who, in some way, had been silenced or had been silenced.”
She then analyzed: “The superficial concepts used to judge wounded hearts and silent mouths are stupid, deviant, and irresponsible concepts that can lead to deep wounds.”
In the end, she said: “I see that my longing disturbs some furry hearts. I have always been so loved in every possible way, and in my life and my story there is no way to take up the space of those who loved me and whom I loved. I do not replace loved ones, I add them, I learned from them and they will always have their place. This is how they live as I grow up.”
