American Airlines will fly 42 weekly flights between Ezeiza and the United States during the next summer season, a historic highlight of the American airline’s commitment to Argentina. Just days before the start of the peak season, the airline increased both its capacity and the frequency of its flights from Buenos Aires and is already preparing for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
The company will be offering from the 25/26 season four daily flights from Miami, plus one daily service from New York and another from Dallas/Fort Worth. Compared to the previous season American will increase its capacity by 9.3 percent and its operations by nearly 11 percent.

The Buenos Aires-Dallas route will play an important role in this project World Cup. The airline will expand its seasonal operations in preparation for the 2026 World Cup, in which Dallas/Fort Worth will be one of the host cities and in which the Argentine national team has already scheduled two games. The first of them, against Austria on June 22nd and the other on the 27th of this month Jordan.
So, between May 21 and August 3, 2026, Americans will operate four weekly flights on this route with the aim of meeting the demand associated with the sporting event and strengthening its main hub in the central United States.
Demand from Argentines wanting to accompany the last world champion in the new competition is already starting to break records. The connection between Buenos Aires and Dallas has the goal to meet the high demand of Argentinians traveling to the USA for summer vacation, but also from foreign tourists visiting South America, especially for cruise trips to Antarctica, the Argentine Sea, Uruguay and Brazil.
Premium service
Parallel to that American will debut the new cabin configuration of its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet in the local market. This aircraft introduces the product in Argentina Flagship Suitewith privacy doors in business class and a wider range of premium seats. The aircraft also features Premium Economy improvements such as molded headrests and more personal storage space.
In December 2024, the company had resumed the Ezeiza-Dallas/Fort Worth route, one of its main hubs in the United States, after discontinuing it earlier in the year due to limited aircraft availability. After temporary operation until March 2025, operations resumed in October and will remain active until March 27, 2026, with further reinforcements as part of the region’s growth strategy.
According to the latest data from the National Civil Aviation Administration (Anac) from October this year, American Airlines is the sixth most important international player in the Argentine market, leading passenger transport between Argentina and the United States, ahead of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Delta and United. In fact, it was the tenth month of the year 49,250 passengers, almost 4,000 travelers more than in the same month last year.
