Burgos Local Police arrested woman, 49, for allegedly attacking her partner with a kitchen knife sentimental. This was allegedly committed in a house located on the road that connects Poza de la Sal to … the capital of Burgos.
The arrest took place last Wednesday around eight o’clock in the morning in a house located on the aforementioned road, where a woman was detained as alleged perpetrator of a crime of ill-treatment in the family environment, according to Ep. He allegedly attacked his partner with a kitchen knife, who was slightly injured.
Beatings, thefts and fights
Likewise, three other men were arrested for the alleged commission of different crimes, including assaults and threats against law enforcement officers, robbery with violence and serious resistance.
That same Wednesday, at 6 p.m., the second arrest took place around Romanceros Street. A 36-year-old man was arrested after being involved in a serious altercation which caused a significant disturbance to public order, when hitting and causing damage to several parked vehicles.
During the identification process, the individual also attacked the officers acting and uttered serious threats to them, municipal sources report in a press release.
The third arrest took place on Thursday December 18, around 7:15 p.m., as part of the ‘Safe Christmas’ operation launched by the Local Police. The officers went to the area around Paseo del Espolón after receiving a warning about a violent theft from one of the stalls at the Christmas market.
An eyewitness reported that they followed the person who stole an item without paying for it and that when he was reprimanded for it, he responded with threats and an attack that caused injuries, both being in the Plaza Mayor. It should be noted that the detainee, a 60-year-old man, was already known to the local police for his involvement in attempted thefts the previous days at this same Christmas market.
Furthermore, during the intervention, several merchants in the neighborhood approached the officers to report other theft attempts committed by this same person, which reinforced their arrest.
The last arrest took place on Friday, December 19, around 4:50 a.m., around the neighborhoods of San Pedro and San Felices.
In this case, the police officers who were carrying out patrols as part of Operation “Safe Christmas”, in the area of Pier 56, heard screams and observed a commotion in which two young people attacked each other on the ground. The officers, in plain clothes, identified themselves as members of the local police and managed to separate the people involved. During the intervention, one of the young people showed serious resistance and repeatedly refused to be identified.
Likewise, several witnesses affirmed that this young man, aged 18, had already attacked other people, one of whom could have suffered a possible fracture of the nasal septum, which is why he was finally arrested.
