A 25-year-old woman died after being attacked by her own dog, a pitbull, in her garden, this Tuesday (23/12), in Campinas, inland São Paulo.
According to the Military Police (PM), teams were called this morning around 9:10 a.m. to respond to an incident of an aggressive animal, on Rua Dr. Pereira Lima, in the industrial district of Vila. On site, the police discovered a woman attacked by her own pit bull.

The victim suffered serious stomach injuries and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called to help him. The doctor went to the scene, but the woman died instantly.
The animal had to be immobilized by the victim’s husband and a forensic examination was requested. The case was still ongoing until the publication of this report and will be registered at the 1st Police District of Campinas.
